There is a new feature called Fill Edges inside of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic that photographers who create lots of panoramic images will really appreciate. When you activate the new Fill Edges command, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic invents a patch of pixels using content-aware logic to cover the empty areas that exist around the sides of your merged panorama.

Fill Edges is one more tool that we can utilize to hide the gaps in information that so often occur around the edges of our canvas when stitching panoramas together. Like Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic’s Boundary Warp feature, Fill Edges is not a panacea. This new command is not going to work perfectly every time but when it works it’s a wonderful addition to our panorama stitching toolset.
